Press House Neasden

Press House is owned by a Housing Association and provides short-term accommodation for families, many of whom are immigrants. Our brief was to design community rooms on the premises for three different groups: Press House residents, their neighbours from the adjacent housing estate and homeless families from Brent generally. A critical objective was to improve the existing poor relations between the immigrant families in Press House and their housing estate neighbours. Our solution was to provide distinct spaces for each group while also allowing for integration in communal areas such as the computer room as relations improved.“Pedder & Scampton is a totally professional firm. Don’t be put off by their small size. Your client will get the highest quality design.”Comment from Housing Association Project Manager
