Our domestic portfolio comprises new construction as well as refurbishment, which includes work in conservation areas and to listed buildings.
The design of a new family house in Swiss Cottage was described by the planning department as exemplary of contemporary design within a conservation area. The project gained an RIBA award, a Civic Trust Award and a Camden Environment Award.
Starting with careful analysis our refurbishment work is characterized by maximizing space and light and the use of colour and distinctive materials. New construction is complemented where required by the careful repair of original fabric. Removing elements is often as significant as what is added when giving new life to old buildings.
